Received from Nick late this afternoon:
The trails west of 11th conc have been packed including Malamute with the small groomer and we did 1 pass. Conditions are marginal and debris is still showing in some areas.
Nick says it would be helpful, if people wanted, to snowshoe Moose trail and the new swamp trail at Gun Club to pack the snow down and get the cold at the ice surface to help it freeze harder. Seb says he is going out on the Swamp trail Friday night, so contact him to find out if it’s frozen enough to hold a person on snowshoes. With the coating of snow insulating the ice it will take longer for it to freeze solid enough to get the groomer on it.
