There was 10-15 cm of snow on the ground at Larose this morning – nice easy running snow, not the wet clingy kind. There is no grooming until after the holiday break, and maybe not quite enough to groom yet anyway, but enough to sled on. Several teams were out, so the western trails are ‘sled packed’. Most everything was in good shape, but I suggest avoiding 3rd Trail until it gets groomed, as the bigger crushed gravel there isn’t great for runners. I would avoid the eastern trails until there has been a bit more time to freeze the wet areas and cover up the rougher base on Moose and Roller Coaster.
