10/11, RollerCoaster, Gun Club south side and Tower Loop are groomed. David says there are a lot of tiny branches and tree debris on the eastern trails as they had less snow on them. There were a lot of downed trees. RollerCoaster near 25 is muddy as the base is not frozen yet and the groomer stirred things up. Tower Loop is reasonably clean of animal prints after 4 passes. He re-groomed Malamute to take out prints as well.
The new surface is not ideal, but reasonably flat with pebbly bits of ice. We really need fresh snow. Skijorers might prefer Concession 11, JGL and 10/11 as there are fewer branches on those. The light dusting of snow after the initial grooming helps to cover the debris on the western trails.
