Grooming Update – January 13
Update from Nick: All eastern trails were packed today. It goes from super nice on old tower to some soil exposed on gun club loops 10-11, roller coaster, moose and parking bypass are ok.

Western trails are groomed except bypass and deep ravine: 1st, 2nd and 4th are ok; 3rd has rocks sticking out; 11, GJL and end loop are ok; Malamute has lots of leaves and sticks showing. – Nick

All the trails were groomed today except Swamp trail, which is blown out to dirt and brush stumps at the north end exit toward Gun Club, so not recommended. Western trails were hard and fast with a thin layer of broken granular on top due to the grooming. Eastern trails…

The western trails were still in excellent shape, with some light debris from the winds. ByPass, Rollercoaster and 10/11 were both similarly excellent. Best guess is that these trails will be great until Wed, and maybe passable on the weekend for those who are willing to deal with some chancy…
