All the western trails except the Deep Ravine have been groomed double-wide. Moose is also double-wide groomed. 10/11, Rollercoaster and Swamp are packed and skidoo groomed. It was too warm to bring the groomer over those trails.

Swamp and Moose are groomed. They are bumpy but rideable. All other trails are good. Just watch out for Moose foot prints on Malamute. Pray for snow.

Western trails are groomed. Started as ice with 2 cm of snow on top, so hard and fast. Eastern trails will be groomed tomorrow.

As most of you already know, Larose Forest has closed the entire trail system until further notice. There is ice covering the concession with a dusting of snow on top from yesterday (maybe 1cm). No point in grooming as the trail is just compacted ice. Pray to the snow gods…

The trails are groomed. Moose is not done because of water and past the Swamp turn off on Gun Club is not done. They had a little trouble with the Alpine’s throttle cable, so the new groomer was only used on Concession 11 and Malamute Loop, and maybe End Loop.…

David and Kent are grooming today. We are going to try the new grooming drag, so it should be a well packed rippled surface suitable for skijor when they are done. I’ll post an update once they have given me their report.
