Larose – March 19

Seb says the trail conditions were pretty good last night. There has been an ATV from the parking to Third trail (did a donut at Third). Seb says it’s fixable. We’ll do what we can to fix the worst of it on Saturday morning. At the moment the groomer is…

Larose – March 12

Evening of March 12 – trails were hard and fast. Not too slick for the dogs. Pretty slick for skijor, super fast for sleds and easy running for small teams. Most trails were in really good shape. Large ice patch on Concessionn 10 south of the stop signs (4-Corners). Somewhat…

Western trails were hard and fast with a light dusting of fresh snow on top. Ideal running for small teams. Skijorers seemed to find them good today as well. Malamute Loop and ByPass are still not recommended for skijor (not enough snow). Eastern trails still need more snow to be…

From Jenny-Lee: Just a note that we had a encounter in Tower Loop with someone walking with 2 loose dogs. One dog was named Shelby from what i heard her say. My guys went on by but had to stop as one of her dogs lunged at my young one…
