Evening of March 12 – trails were hard and fast. Not too slick for the dogs. Pretty slick for skijor, super fast for sleds and easy running for small teams. Most trails were in really good shape. Large ice patch on Concessionn 10 south of the stop signs (4-Corners). Somewhat hazardous moose prints in north Gun Club Trail, close to the gun club, and a few on Moose Trail as well. Some shallow people footprints in Tower and part of Gun Club, but passable.
Please do not run on the trails after mid-morning on Friday. It’s really warm, and we’d like to keep the trails in reasonable shape for the Saturday morning.
