We ran on the eastern trails this evening. They were fast, with a somewhat lightly chopped surface from the grooming, so not slippery, Concession 10 was hard packed, but a groomer had been by, so not slippery. I think skijor would be ok for reasonably competent skiers and/or slower dogs.…
I did a pass on eastern trails and they are ok. I also did a pass on the 11th. I will get them all done before Friday. – Nick

The trails were surprisingly good for setup – solid if a bit sticky. Forecast is still hovering around zero all night, so I believe trail conditions will be acceptable. We are running 4-dog teams on the western trails, 3.5 miles including the “deep ravine”. See you at 8:30 for registration.…
