David and Kent are grooming today. We are going to try the new grooming drag, so it should be a well packed rippled surface suitable for skijor when they are done. I’ll post an update once they have given me their report.

Just to let everyone know that I went over all of the western trails today to make them bigger. As went over 10/11 and roller coaster. The trails are not perfect yet but working on it. I will be going out again tomorrow to smooth them out. – Kent
There is up to 2 feet of new fresh wet snow at Larose. David just got back from making 2 passes to pack most of the western trails with the Alpine by itself. He says it will be tough running, but possible for sled teams tomorrow. Likely still too rough…
The gravel mounds have been removed. There was some logging work removing deadfalls. This has been smoothed out, but Big Pine and JGL may be soft over the recent work areas.
There are several mounds of gravel on the western trails, so be careful if you practice there this fall. Some are small enough to go around, but others are not. It is for bike trail maintenance and should be removed soon, but take care until then. Also watch for dog walkers on…
There will be logging activities on North Gun Club this winter, so that part of our trail network will not be available until further notice. Tower Loop should remain available from South Gun Club to Devil’s Elbow.
