The trails were solid this morning, but there is 5-10 cm of fresh snow on them in most places, so not great for skijor. Somewhat heavy running for the dog teams, but doable. – Dana

All the trails are groomed except: Deep Ravine and Swamp trail. 1st is packed by sled only (got stuck). Careful on south Gun Club, I got stuck and left a bit of a mess. – Nick
Gun Club, Rollercoaster By-pass, 11th and Moose have groomed. Careful on Moose, some moose tracks. Tower Loop is now closed. – Nick
Tuesday at noon we will close Old tower loop for logging operations.This will be for the rest of the season. – Nick

The mild weather last week followed by the deep freeze on Saturday night has not been kind to our trails. I skijored on End Loop and Malamute Loop this afternoon, accessing the trails from the Cheney side of the forest. The loops themselves were icy, hard and fast and then…

I fixed [Concession 11] to best I could with the tractor, and it’s pretty decent.We will try to groom it tomorrow but with the mild weather we might not be able to go out. – Nick
The water main work is done, and the excavator guys tried to fix the damage to Concession 11, but there are still large holes in the trail. Forestry will be out to fix it Thursday or Friday. In the meantime it is recommended to avoid using Concession 11. *** Also,…
