Mush Larose Annual General Meeting and BBQ

Sunday, 27 August 2023, 12 noon

Sue Giles’ backyard, 3383 Elizabeth St., Osgoode, ON

We will have our usual BBQ of burgers, sausages, drinks and chips: free for members, $5 for a guest. Potluck items are welcomed, but not required. Please bring your own chair.

Agenda highlights:

• Finances: proposed membership fee increase
• Review of doing our own grooming last year and planning for the future
• Trails and parking area
• This year’s events / schedule
• Executive elections: Need a new Head of Trail Maintenance. Jeff Black has volunteered to run for president 2023-24. Nominations for any role are welcome. Anyone wanting to volunteer to assist with any other positions would also be welcomed.
• Event organizers needed for Race4Rescue and Dryland #2

Feel free to propose additional topics that are of special interest to you. If you are unable to attend in person, or you are not comfortable speaking, send your concerns/comments to Dana (President@MushLarose.ca), so she will read them at the meeting for discussion.

Come out and elect next year’s executive, and let them know where you want the club to go. Please feel free to nominate yourself or others for the executive roles (they are what you make of them, but an outline of the basic responsibilities is attached).
