Annual General Meeting and BBQ

Monday, 2 September 2024 (Labour Day), at noon
Sue Giles’ backyard, 3383 Elizabeth St., Osgoode, ON

We will have our usual BBQ of burgers, sausages, drinks and chips: free for members, $5 for a guest. Potluck items are welcomed, but not required. Please bring your own chair.

Executive meeting minutes are attached. Which is basically a detailed agenda for the AGM. Highlights:

• Review this year’s financials: 23/24 surplus (donations, and very low grooming expenses due to lack of snow)
• Trails and signage
• Possible Fatjor (fat bikejor) winter trail time and race class
• Training days: additional mentors required
• Elections: Nominations are welcome! In particular we need new Head of Trail Maintenance; and organizers for Dryland #2and Race 4 Rescue
• Tentative event schedule (see Exec minutes)

Feel free to propose additional topics that are of special interest to you. If you are unable to attend in person, or you are not comfortable speaking, send your concerns/comments to Jeff (President@MushLarose.ca). He will read them at the meeting for discussion.

Come out and elect next year’s executive, and let them know where you want the club to go. We’re looking forward to hearing what you have to say!
