Trail maintenance day is almost here. We need to clear trees and cut back bush on our trails to prepare for the fall and winter seasons. The quality of our fall trails depends on all of us!

Please bring for your enjoyment of time in the bush: boots, bug spray, appropriate clothing for hiking in the bush for several hours & hydration. Anyone working on the Swamp Trail will need rubber boots.

Any of the following would be very helpful: trimmers, axe, brush cutters, rakes (leaf, garden, gravel), weed-wacker, sickle cutter, hedge trimmer, etc. People with chainsaws and experience would be particularly useful.

If you can’t come that day, but would still like to help out, we would be happy to choose a task with you, for the day of your choice.

It’s a fun day in the bush re-acquainting yourself with your winter buddies and meeting some new ones. Many hands make for light work and great fall/winter trail conditions. I look forward to seeing you there!
