***The trails were surprisingly good for setup – solid if a bit sticky. Forecast is still hovering around zero all night, so I believe trail conditions will be acceptable. We are running 4-dog teams on the western trails, 3.5 miles including the “deep ravine” between JGL and End Loop. See you at 8:30 for registration.***

Registration There is a race fee of $10 in addition to a paid seasonal Mush Larose membership. Weekend memberships are available on-site for $15 if you do not have an annual membership. If you are not yet a member this year, please bring a complete membership form (attached) with you to speed things up, or register on-line in advance at mushlarose.ca/membership. If not already completed for this season please send your proof of vaccinations to Cindy Merkley <Training@mushlarose.ca> ahead of the event.

Prizes There will be ribbons and badges for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in both categories; and of course the coveted Nordic AKC/CKC Trophy (trophy is awarded for one year, when it must be returned refilled with treats of the winner’s choice.
Race Information Any changes or cancellation notice will be posted online at www.MushLarose.ca. There is no food or water available on site for this event. Please bring your own. No loose dogs on site. Please clean up after your dogs.Racers must be a minimum of 16 years of age. Under age 18 must wear a helmet and eye protection. All sleds must have sled bag to hold an injured dog if necessary, a snow hook sufficient to hold the team and a leash or snub-line.
